Hi, I'm John Loyd.
I'm a software developer from the Philippines focused on backend systems, automation, networking, and developer tools. I enjoy understanding how systems work under the hood and deepen my understanding in systems programming, networking, and distributed systems.
I'm currently a contractor building business automation systems and web applications, and I also teach Information Techonology part-time. Outside work, I'm building a BitTorrent client in Go, experimenting with media transcoding pipeline, and writing about what I learn.
